‘For the Love of Music’ will present a concert series

The 2008-2009 “For the Love of Music” concert series kicks off with a young pianist from Indonesia.

He made his Russian debut to a sold - out audience playing Prokofiev’s 1st Piano Conterto with the St. Petersberg State Academy Symphony.

He’s been invited back for next year.

In April residents will have an opportunity to hear a string quartet playing a matched set of instruments made by Zoran Stilin this past Summer.

Music lovers have heard him play several different cellos he has made. Concertgoers in Bisbee found their sound glorious.

Local opinion has been confirmed by the 1St prizes Zoran has won for a number of his instruments.

The last concert of the season features the Sonoran Consort which will once again demonstrate the marvelous acoustics of the Woman’s Club Hall -- perfect not only for single instruments like harp and guitar, but also for 6 voices.
