On Saturday, October 4, one very deserving lady in Douglas, Arizona will be celebrated and feted by the community as Beta Sigma Phi’s Lady of the Year. A group of nominators – business owners, civic leaders, and Douglas residents – submitted names of women who have made important contributions in our community. The nominators then chose one woman to be honored as 2008’s Lady of the Year.  To properly give tribute to this Lady, the members of the Xi Psi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi are busy creating invitations and attending to the many intricate details to hosting a Tea. Keep reading the Dispatch and listen to Talk of the Town to find out the secret identity of our next Beta Sigma Phi Lady of the Year on September 20th.Beta Sigma Phi Xi Psi Chapter Lady of the Year committee members are, from left, Susan Lowe, Judy James, Loli Molina, Ana Bernal, Sally John, Marissa Flores, Chaelyn Fredrickson and Annabelle Wu.
