Board to discuss teacher dismissal, personnel issues

The Douglas Unified School District Governing Board is looking at a long agenda, including three prersonnel items which may require executive sessions.


The board will meet beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, at the Central Admistration Building on 12th Street.

In addition to determining the futures of Computer instructor Cynthia Cardona, Ray Borane In-House monitor Kenneth Carpenter and Ray Borane custodian Tony Alvarado, the board will conduct first reading of 14 revised and new policies.

The board will also review use of webcasts to broadcast governing board meetings, as well as numerous changes in  in teacher roles an salary, along with new hires and resignations
