A Chevy Lumina minivan ended up on its side when it failed to stop at a stop sign on M Avenue at 10th Street. The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The van got turned over when it was struck by a black Volkswagen Jetta, which was traveling west on 10th Street. Those involved were injured sufficiently that some were transported to the hospital. The intersection was closed for a block in all directions until 4:45 p.m. The accident is still under investigation.
