Progress continues with the Best Western Hotel on 7th Street and Pan American Avenue. A Large crane installs a truss for the roof of the three-story hotel. The 50-room hotel is expected to be completed in mid January. There has also been some discussion about the construction of a second hotel in the same area. A short distance away, work has also begun on Carl’s Jr’s, located at Pan American and Fifth Street. Crews are digging a trench for utilities.
