“These types of results are exactly what the Governor had in mind when she directed the Arizona Department of Public Safety to create a statewide team to address the thousands of fugitive arrest warrants in the state. This incredible partnership between federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies resulted in clearing 135 felony warrants statewide in this one operation alone. The work of the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, or VCAT, will continue. I would like to give my congratulations to everyone who participated in ‘Operation Can’t Hide’. They’ve made communities across the state a bit safer today,” said Roger Vanderpool, director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
