At about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday a police officer saw Moreno driving a white Chevrolet Avalanche. The officer conducted a traffic stop when he saw that both back tires were flat, said Lt. Carlos Guido, a spokesman for the Douglas Police Department.
Instead of pulling over, Moreno fled from the police officer, which led to a chase through parts of town.
Throughout the chase, the Avalanche lost its two back tires. Moreno kept driving the truck on only the two back rims.
Moreno finally stopped on the 1400 block of 7th Street, where he was arrested and transported to county jail.
The truck was reported stolen out of Pima County, Guido said.
