The presentation, “Emergency Preparedness for You and Your Family,” will be given on Wednesday morning, November 19, at the Douglas Area Food Bank located at 660 G Avenue (at the corner of 7th Street), beginning at 9:30.

The presentation begins at 9:30 a.m., lasts about one hour, and is open to the public free of charge. Topics to be covered include making an individual plan and creating a 72-hour survival kit, as well as ways to become well-informed and involved in community awareness.
“When it is time to make a decision, the time for preparation is past,” she said. “Our motto is Preparation Prevents Panic, “and we want Cochise County to BE READY.”
