The Cochise College Music Department will ring in the holidays with fabulous music that spans the centuries and transports listeners to exotic locales, such as France and Argentina.

In collaboration with Ballet Folklórico Municipal of Agua Prieta, the Cochise College bi-national chorus Música sin Fronteras, along with the Sierra Vista Campus chamber choir, present Navidad del Barrio by Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez.

This suite of choral movements, accompanied by instruments and percussion, expresses the story of the nativity through different regional voices of Latin America.

The music will be presented with the dancing talents of Ballet Folklórico.

Each choral group also will present other rich holiday works from Latin America and Europe.

Concerts are scheduled for:

√ 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, Gadsden Hotel, 1046 N. G Ave., Douglas

√ 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, Kino Hall, 800 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista

√ 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, La Iglesia Virgen de Guadalupe, Naco, Sonora
