Douglas Williams House presents the late Bette H. Levra doll collection

Published/Last Modified on Saturday, December 6, 2008 12:55 AM MST

The Doll Collection of the late Bette H. Levra will be shown at the Douglas Williams House, located at 1001 D. Avenue, during December. Included are Shirley Temple dolls and a Sonja enie doll with skates, childhood gifts to Mrs. Levra.

These are augmented by many examples collected by Mrs. Levra when traveling with her husband, Ray. Mrs. Levra sought hand-fashioned examples representative of different cultures and countries.

Very beautiful examples from 19th Century China were gifts from her father’s friend who ran a Chinese restaurant in Butte, Montana.

The Collection may be seen Wednesdays 1:00 – 4:00 pm, Thursdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and Saturdays 1:00 – 4:00 pm beginning Saturday, December 6th until Wednesday, December 31, 2008.

For more information, call The Douglas Williams House, at 364-7073.

We will be closed Christmas and New Years.

Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
