GIITEM detectives locate major marijuana load in Cochise County

On December 11, 2008, at about 11:10 a.m., Gang and Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GIITEM) detectives on patrol in Cochise County, observed some men running in the area north of State Route 80, 20 miles east of Douglas.  GIITEM detectives followed their trail and located 27 bundles of marijuana hidden in the brush.  The total amount of marijuana weighed over 600 pounds.  No arrests have been made.

    " If they saw a group running and it was not a cross country team, why were they not able to talk to someone. Perhaps the team should be called Can't GITEM. "
