The Douglas Lady Bulldogs celebrate after beating Sahuarita Saturday in the state quarterfinals in Phoenix. The win put Douglas into the state semifinals for the first time in school history. The No. 4 seed Lady Bulldogs will now face No. 1 seed Cottonwood Mingus Wednesday at 5 pm. with that winner playing Friday for the state championship. The Lady Bulldogs have 16 wins on the season, 13 by shutout and have outscored their opponents 79-13. For more on the game turn to Page A7
