Pedro R. Medeguari passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona.

Pedro is survived by his children, Peter (Shelby) Medeguari, Jose (Maria) Medeguari, Tony (Mary Ellen) Medeguari, Angel (Linda) Medeguari, Armando Medeguari, Frank (Elsa) Medeguari, Danny (Patricia) Medeguari, Brenda (Arturo) Torres and Lilia Medeguari. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Medeguari was a lifelong resident of Douglas.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and retired from civil service at Fort Huachuca.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. A Rosary for Pedro will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009 also at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with Father Marcos Basulto officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion and VFW.
Pallbearers who will serve are Danny B. Medeguari, Ruben A Torres, Adrian A. Torres, Alex A. Medeguari, Victor R. Medeguari and Diego Campoy. Honorary Pallbearers are Peter B. Medeguari, Jose B. Medeguari, Tony B. Medeguari, Angel B. Medeguari, Frank B. Medeguari and Armando B. Medeguari.
