Previous charges lead to arrest

DOUGLAS — A Mexican man was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents on Tuesday after he was found to have been previously arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14.


Agents assigned to the Douglas station apprehended the man, and during a check using the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System, he was found to have been previously arrested, according to the Border Patrol.

The agency did not say where he had been previously arrested or whenthe man had been processed before for removal from the United States.
