Termite signup continues Saturday


The Douglas Termite League will continue registration this Saturday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the Safeway Shopping Center.

Signup is $50 through Feb. 28. Anyone registering after that date will be assessed a $20.00 late charge

New players must have a birth certificate.

Players can be registered at Ortega’s Shoes during the week.

Termite is for kids ages 7-9. Registration will run the entire month of February.

Softball registration begins Saturday

The Douglas Girls Amateur Softball Association (DGASA) will begin registering players Saturday from 9-12 at the Douglas Safeway on 5th Street.

Cost is $40 per player. New players need to bring a birth certificate. Registration during the week can be done at Ortega’s Sportsworld.

Registration will continue through March 14.

Sponsors, coaches and umpires are also needed.
