Local ties

Miss Arizona Alicia-Monique Blanco will be competing for the Miss USA title on April 20 in Las Vegas. Relatives will be there to support her effort, including Olga Salazar and Raul Montano of Border Mart. Blanco is their cousin. Even though she is from Phoenix, she still has roots in Douglas. Look in your local television listings to see when the pageant will be held.
