College vocalists to perform with early music ensemble April 4, 5

The Cochise College binational choir Musica sin Fronteras is collaborating with early music ensemble Musica Sonora to present La Pasión: Music from South America, Mexico and Spain. Under the direction of Dr. Lori Keyne and Artistic Director Christina Jarvis, respectively, and conducted by Joel Schwindt, the groups will present works for Holy Week by Bermudez, Guerrero, Padilla, Sumaya, Torrejón, Victoria and others.

Performances are scheduled for:

• 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams St., Tucson

• 3 p.m. Sunday, April 5, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Bisbee

Tickets for the Tucson concert cost $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and for groups of 10 or more, and $5 for students. They are available at the door. Admission to the Bisbee concert is free.
