“Keep doing this in remembrance of me,” Jesus Christ told his disciples.

But, what are Jesus’ disciples to commemorate? And why is it so important for you to do so?

Find out on Thursday, April 9, when the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2227 Washington Avenue in Douglas, marks the anniversary of Christ’s death with a simple ceremony.

The event will be conducted in Spanish at 6:30 p.m. and in English at 8 p.m. that Thursday.

Each year, Jehovah’s Witnesses mark the anniversary of Jesus’ death with a simple ceremony. The answers to the questions  will be discussed at the event.

This year, the anniversary falls on Thursday, April 9, after sundown. All are warmly invited to attend.

The church will also hold a special Bible talk entitled, “Is there a true religion from God’s standpoint,”  on Sunday, April 26, at the church. The discussion will be presented in English beginning at 10 a.m., and in Spanish at 1 p.m. that Sunday.

" Only those with the heavenly hope (those that look forward to ruling in heaven---over the meek that shall inherit the earth) partake of the bread and wine. Just as at a wedding ceremony, not everyone gets married, but most if not all are respectful onlookers or witnesses. "

" At the Jehovah's Witnesses memorial, they pass the plate with the unleavened bread and the cup with the wine to all in attendance so that each can reject it in turn.

If JWs teach Christians not to partake of the bread and wine they are no better for John 6:53 says "unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you". "

    " Jehovah’s Witnesses creed:

    A) They are at your door to recruit you for their watchtower corporation, they will say that “we are just here to share a message from the Bible” this is deception right off.

    B) Their ‘message’ is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it’s not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim “..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple…”

    C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban has killed hundreds if not thousands

    D) once they recruit you they will “love bomb” you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off. There are many more dangers,Jehovah’s Witnesses got a bad rap for good and valid reasons.

99% of the world has rejected the teachings of the Watchtower Jehovah’s Witnesses, the darker truth is they are a destructive and oppressive organization.
