Cochise announces spring musical performances

The Cochise College Music Department has scheduled four vocal and instrumental performances that will take place through early May. Admission to the performances is free.

√ Saturday, March 28 - The Cochise Singers and other local choirs present a jazz, pop and classical choral mix at Kino Hall, 800 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, at 7 p.m.

√ Sunday, April 5 - Musica Sonora and the Cochise College bi-national chorus Musica sin Fronteras present works for Holy Week by Bermudez, Guerrero, Padilla, Sumaya, Torrejón, Victoria and others.“La Pasión: Music from South America, Mexico, and Spain” will be performed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 100 Quality Hill Road, Bisbee, at 3 p.m.

√  Friday, April 24 - Cochise College music students perform songs from popular operas and musicals. “The Magic of LOVE” will be presented at Kino Hall, 800 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, at 6 p.m.

√ Sunday, May 3 – “Many Roots, One Promise” is a spring concert put on by Cochise College ensembles, area choirs and bands at the Buena Performing Arts Center, 5225 Buena School Blvd., Sierra Vista, at 3 p.m.
