Kindergarten registration begins April 1

Kindergarten registration will begin in April for Douglas elementary schools.


Kindergarten registration will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m., at the New Student Center, located at 1132 12th Street. Registration on these dates for the following schools:

√ Faras School, April 1 and 2.

√ Joe Carlson, April 7 and 8.

√ Clawson School, April 14 and 15.

√ Sarah Marley, April 21 and 22.

√ Stevenson School, April 28 and 29.

In order to register, the following must be brought to registration:

• Birth certificate

• Immunization records

• Picture identification for Parent/Legal Guardian

• Three proofs of residence in your name and address:

√ Utility bills (gas, light, water, cable or telephone)

√  Lease agreements

√ Proof of home ownership or taxes.

• Withdrawal form, report cards or transcripts from previous school.
