Donny “Donito” Lee Anaya passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2009. Donny was born June 25, 1974 in Douglas, AZ. Preceding him in death are his grandma Lena  and grandpa Robert, his uncle David Anaya , and cousin Richard Alvarado. Surviving are his mother Lilly Ann Lopez, brother Leonard Lopez, and nephew Leonard Paul Lopez Jr., and niece Jazlynn Lopez. His family and friends will truly feel a void with his passing. Donny always brought laughter wherever he went. Whenever someone needed help or a listening ear he was always there and never asked for anything in return.


Donny loved to cook, work on cars and celebrate life.

His aunts Barbara, Sally, Betty along with uncles Bobby, Matt, Hector and Ralph will truly miss him. His numerous cousins will always feel his joy and presence when they gather together. Donito will be missed.

Rosary for Donny will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009-7:00 p.m. in the main chapel of Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel, 1860-8th St. Mass of the Resurrection will be, Wednesday, April 1, 2009-10:00 a.m. at St. Luke catholic Church, with Fr. James Baka. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Hughes, Leonard Lopez, Steve Salazar, Aaron Alvarado, Joey Anaya, and Gustavo Sodari. Honorary-Pallbearers will be Nick Arnold, Kent Slinker, Michael Alvarado, Bobby Anaya, Hector Rojas, Jose Bono, Ralph Arnold, Bobby Anaya Jr., and Matt Slinker. Care entrusted to Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel, 364-2121, Funeral Director Alex Espinosa.
