SIERRA VISTA — The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in the Tuesday shooting death in Naco, Ariz., as the victim’s brother.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ivan Alexis Valenzuela-Lopez. In the warrant, the 19-year-old is charged with first-degree murder. A $1 million bond also has been set.

The Sheriff’s Office originally identified Valenzuela-Lopez as a person of interest, and he is now considered a suspect.

At 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting shots fired in the 3800 block of Willson Road in Naco. The caller told police a man was on the floor and barely breathing. When deputies arrived, they found Eduardo Francisco Valenzuela, 23, dead at the scene.
