BISBEE — Mexican officials announced Monday that there are no confirmed cases of swine flu in Sonora, but they have closed all schools in the state as a precaution.

In fact, across Mexico schools at all levels will remain closed until May 6.

El Imparcial reported that during a press conference, Eduardo Bours Castelo, governor of Sonora, said there were no reported cases in the state.

And, the secretary of health, Raymundo Lopez Vucovich, said hospitals are being monitored and added, “We don’t have any cases, neither suspected, nor verified.”

According to a press release, the Secretary of Education and Culture in Sonora announced the cancellation of classes from kindergarten through university.

The measure applies to students, teachers and staff in public and private schools.

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta recommended that U.S. travelers avoid all nonessential travel to Mexico.

" Maybe travel advisories for travel to Douglas, and Agua Prieta should be issued regarding the corruption and danger of traveling to those areas. "

" YEAH RIGHT! Of course they're not going to say if they find cases. If there are cases in Arizona, there has to be some in Sonora. You do'nt just close all schools as precaution. Just like there is no government corruption in Sonora, or just like there is no Drug Cartel violence in Sonora, lies lies lies. "
