When officers arrived they were unable to find anything. A short while later Capas said the CCSO was advised by the Douglas Police Department about a man being treated at Southeast Arizona Medical Center for a gun shot wound to the thigh.
Capas said the officers determined the man, who is not being identified at this time, had indeed been shot once with the bullet going straight through the thigh.
“It was considered a non-life threatening injury,” she said.
The individual who fired the gun causing the injury is also not being identified at this time by the CCSO.
Capas said the investigation into the incident is continuing.
