Sylvia R. Granados passed away on June 19, 2009 in Tucson. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.


Sylvia was born on October 19, 1941 to Frank Ramirez and Mary Ann Hernandez in Douglas, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus R. Granados of 30 years of marriage.

Surviving her are sons Jesus (Patty) Granados, Michael (Bea) Granados, daughters Diane (Saul) Miller, Sylvia (Roger) Ramirez, and Claudina (Frank) Teran. Surviving also are her brothers Frank Ramirez, Mario A. Castillo, and 13 grandchildren.

Sylvia was a loving mother, grandmother. She loved being a mother, grandmother, singing, cooking, shopping and the love of laughter. She was also a child care provider. A Rosary and mass are being scheduled for this week.

 Please call Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel for service times. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Pirtleville, AZ. Care entrusted to Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel, 364-2121, Funeral Director Alex Espinosa.
