" oh come on people...things like that are not only happening in Douglas or AP, they are happening in every city/town...drugs unfortunately are everywhere. BUT, don't put down the entire Douglas community because of some bad apples..there are still plenty of honest, decent, hard working citizens in Douglas. It's still a great community to live in! "

" Let's see, first we had an ex-city employee (Pete) busted for human smuggling. Still working in town, driving his heavy equipment. Now we have Carlos, a drug dealer. Throw in our own local child molestors and what do we get, our own "Gateway to Wealth." Don't know which is worse, living here in Douglas or Agua Prieta? Why is it that the identity of "grandma" trying to smuggle drugs at the border, still goes unidentified? She must be part of the "Good Old Boy's" or comes from a prominent family? Better yet, someone possibly employed by the city? "

" Are we really amazed to hear someone from Douglas was arrested for narcotics smuggling? No what else would you expect from this town, where it seems smuggling is the top rated job. Noone wants to work for an honest living, they want the money handed to them. "
