Mrs. Juana Camargo Holguin passed away at her home on Friday, July 3, 2009 surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Holguin was born on June 24, 1914 in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico to Juan and Josefa Galvez Camargo.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Elva Reynosa Rael.


Juana is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gilberto Duarte Holguin of Douglas.

Her children; Olga Meza, Eva (Elijo) Valenzuela, Ramon (Cecelia) Holguin, Reynaldo (Lucy) Holguin, Elviria Loretto, Gilbert (Diane) Holguin, Fernando (Romelia) Holguin, Richard (Sandra) Holguin and Yolanda Verdugo.  She is also survived by her 49 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel.  A Rosary for Juana will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church with a Mass of the Resurrection being celebrated following the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilbert Malu officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.   Pallbearers who will serve are Ramon Holguin, Reynaldo Holguin, Gilbert Holguin, Fernando Holguin, Richard Holguin and Ernie Verdugo.
