Natividad Alcazar Del Rio (Nana Naty) passed away at her daughter’s home July 1st 2009.


Mrs. Del Rio was born September 15 1923 in Mexico D.F. She came to the United States in 1928 and later immigrated in 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Del Rio.  She was the mother of five: Dolores (Leo) Robles Manuel Del Rio, Lupita Del Rio, Bertha (Frank) Morales, Ernie (Loida) Del Rio: also surviving are her 15 grandchildren; Manny Del Rio, Lenny Robles, Cyndi Izzo, Lori Reyna, Marisa Del Rio, Andrea Foster, Anissa Rodriguez, Louie Robles, Jerry Del Rio, Myra Del Rio, Krissy Perez, Tatyana Rodriguez, David Morales, Erine  Del Rio Jr. and Gabriel Del Rio. Also surviving are her 27 great-grand-children.

A Rosary was recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, in Douglas, AZ.    A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, July 6, 2009, also at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with Father Arnold Noriega officiating.

Burial followed at the Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers who served were; Lenny Robles, Louie Robles, David Morales, Ernie Del Rio, Jr.,  Andre Rodriguez, Adam Foster, Antonio Rodriguez, and Michael Reyna.

Honorary Pallbearers were; Manuel Del Rio, Ernie Del Rio, Leo Robles, Frank Morales, Manny Del Rio,  Jerry Del Rio, Ralphie Sanchez, Gabriel Del Rio.

Arrangements were handled by Brown Page Mortuary, 364-3434
