Coasters ready to roll in Bisbee
BISBEE — It’s not often spectators at Bisbee’s annual Coaster Races see new cars roll down Tombstone Canyon.

New board sought for local football/cheer league
With the start of the local youth football/cheer season just around the corner there have been questions circulating around town regarding the future of the Douglas program.

DYFL continues registration; holds public meeting Wednesday at Lions Club
The Douglas Youth Football League will hold another registration this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Douglas Wal-Mart. The registration fee is $60 for the first kid and $55 for each additional child.

AFL to meet in Douglas Thursday
The Arizona Football League is holding a meeting for those interested in participating in the newest adult tackle football team.

Junior All-Stars win District 8 championship
WILLCOX – The Douglas Junior All-Stars are headed back to the State Little League tournament for the second straight year making them the only team from Douglas to advance beyond the District 8 tournament this year.
