Lifelong Douglas resident, Oscar D. Luna, Jr., passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Sierra Vista Regional Health Center.   Oscar was born May 20, 1955 in Douglas, Arizona to Oscar A. Luna, Sr. and Albertina Del Rio.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ramon Luna.  Oscar is survived by his brothers, Mario Luna of Douglas and Danny (Teri) Luna of Tucson.  Sisters, Mary Lou (Guillermo) Brown of Douglas, Marisela (Jesus) Alcaraz and Anna Luna both of Tucson.  He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.


A Rosary for Oscar will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.   A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18th also at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father James Baka officiating.
