Arnulfo Grijalva,86,passed away July 17, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ 


He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Arnulfo was born October 1, 1922 in Agua Prieta, Mexico.  He was raised in Agua Prieta until the age of 21, then moved to Douglas, AZ.  Arnulfo  married Maria Antonia Valenzuela and had six children.

He is survived by his daughter Albertina Reyes and husband Simon Reyes; son Arnulfo Grijalva and his wife Gloria Grijalva; daughter Josephine Montez; son Francisco Grijalva and his wife Mayra Grijalva; and youngest son Marco Antonio Grijalva. Arnulfo is also survived by his six grandchildren Liza Diaz, Kathy Reyes, Raymond Montez, Toni Montez, Francisco Grijalva and Conrado Grijalva; and seven great grandchildren Michael, Javier, Bernadette, Luis, Joshua, Ian and Carolyna.

He was predeceased by his wife Maria Antonia Grijalva, daughter Margarita Grijalva and parents Josepha and Hilario Grijalva.

A visitation will be held on Sunday July 19, from 5 to 8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Brown & Page Funeral Home, 901 F. Ave, Douglas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 20 at 10:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1211 E 15th St, Douglas.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, AZ.
