August 11


ELFRIDA                                                                      

Alcohol Offense:  Marshall Walser (33) was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor at 1207 High Street in Sunsites.  One of the underage subjects was cited and released and the other was issued a juvenile referral. 

Agency Assist:  Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired plates at milepost 19 on Davis Rd.  As the vehicle was stopping, occupants began to exit the vehicle.  Deputies managed to detain 8 and contacted Border Patrol to assist.  Prior to BP arrival, six more subjects returned to the vehicle which was turned over to Border Patrol along with 14 illegal immigrants

August 12

DOUGLAS                                                                   

Burglary: An unknown person (s) stole miscellaneous items from a fenced residential home in the 2000 block of Beki Ln. in Douglas. Total estimate of items stolen $3,000.00.

ELFRIDA                                                                 

Traffic Offense:  Deputies working Stone Garden Details in the area of 191 MP 29 stopped a white van.  A query resulted in the plate being fictitious and the driver driving on suspended.  The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.  Jaime Antonio Vazquez Romero was cited and released.

August 13

ELFRIDA                                                                      

Agency Assist:  On 081209, Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Chevy Van at Mormon and Webb Roads.  Several subjects jumped from the vehicle and absconded.  Border Patrol was summoned and 14 illegal immigrants along with the vehicle were turned over to them.   

August 14

DOUGLAS                                                             

Vehicle Theft: Unknown person(s) stole a black in color, 2006 Dodge truck, (est. value $30,000.00)., from the driveway of the truck owner’s residence. This took place in the 2400 block of 23rd Street.

Criminal Damage: Unknown person (s) broke the rear window a residence in the 2400 block of Blackhawk Road in Portal.

ELFRIDA                                                               

Traffic Offense:  At 2338 hours, Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a 1996 Chevrolet Van at milepost 24 on Highway 191.  The van failed to yield and after four miles, the attempt was terminated.  A short time later, the van ran into a barbed-wire fence and a corn crop at 3585 W Major Way.   

Agency Assist:  Deputies made a traffic stop on a maroon Chevrolet Truck on Apache Rd.  The vehicle contained 6 Illegal immigrants who were turned over to Border Patrol along with the vehicle. 

August 15-16

DOUGLAS                                    

Domestic Violence: Stanely Pearce committed DV/Assault and DV/Disorderly by pushing his partner on to the floor causing a minor cut on her right knee. Stanely Pearce was cited and released .

Burglary:  An unidentified suspect stole 2 bicycles from the back porch of a residence in the 2100 block of Cougar Place. One of the bicycles was a white Mongoose with black wheels with a value stated by the owner to be $100.00. The other bicycle was a grey with chrome Haro with a value stated to be $70.00.

Theft: Unidentified suspect(s) stole a 1973 Air Stream Trailer from a non addressed 40 acre parcel on W Dusty Trail in Double Adobe, AZ. The owner of the trailer stated the value to be $3,000.00.
