Frank L. Valdez went to be with our Lord on August 17, 2009.  He was born in Douglas, Arizona on August 13, 1928. 


He was preceeded by his father, Jesus Valdez and daughter Leticia Valdez.

 He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lydia Valdez and his brothers Ernesto, Tomas, Alejandro, and Juan Valdez.  His children are Henry (Connie), Frank Jr. (Anabel), Arturo, Rosa L. Castillo (Nick), Hector, 17  grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. 

Frank worked and retired from Phelps Dodge Smelter ,was a member of the American Legion, and a veteran of WWII.

The Rosary will be held at Adair Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on August 19, 2009. A Mass at Sat. Luke’s Catholic Church will be held at 10 a.m. on August 20, 2009 followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
