Cochise outdoor painters show

Cochise Outdoor Painters will be holding their fourth annual show from September 1-30th, 2009 at the Douglas Arts Association at 625 10th Street, Douglas Arizona. “Meet the Artist” reception will be on August 12th from 1-4 pm at the Douglas Art Gallery.


The Painters new works display traditional and contemporary art from scenes painted throughout Cochise County. The artists are excited to show off their works that will be for sale. This year the group has invited several local photographers and potters to participate in the show.

Some of the artists displaying their works are: Doug Ralston, Harry Dutcher, Linda Bohling, Mary Price, Pierre Modena, Mary Fogleman, Rebekah Fogleman, Richard Paun, Mike Garino, and Tate Rich. The founding members, Mary Martin and Lil Leclerc, will also have paintings in the show.

Cochise Outdoor Painters are proud to continue with their tradition of holding monthly paint-outs to any and all people interested in outdoor (Plein Air) painting at no membership costs. The group was established in 2002 and continues as a voluntary group of painters that meets monthly, painting in different areas of Cochise County.
