Frank L. Valdez went to be with our Lord on August 17, 2009. He was born in Douglas, Arizona on August 13, 1928. He was preceeded by his father, Jesus Valdez and daughter Leticia Valdez. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lydia Valdez and his brothers Ernesto, Tomas, Alejandro, and Juan Valdez. His children are Henry (Connie), Frank Jr. (Anabel), Arturo, Rosa L. Castillo (Nick), Hector, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Frank worked and retired from Phelps Dodge Smelter ,was a member of the American Legion, and a veteran of WWII.

Mrs. Grijalva was born on April 11, 1915 in Fronteras, Sonora, Mexico to Loretto and Guadalupe Duron Sierra. She has been a local resident for the past 65 years. Angela was preceded in death by her husbands, Angel Durazo, Luis Castillo and Frank Grijalva, her son Manuel Durazo and Brother Juan Vasquez. She is survived by her children Benjamin (Graciela) Castillo, Juan (Selena) Castillo, Guadalupe Castillo Jewell, Frances (Charles) Cato and Loretto (Rudy) Grijalva Delgado. She also leaves behind her 28 Grandchildren, 91 Great Grandchildren and 29 Great-Great Grandchildren.
