DOUGLAS                                                                  

Wanted Person: Santiago Joel Alcantar was arrested for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear out of Lake County S.O.  This incident occurred at the US Border Patrol Station (1608 N. Kings Highway) in Douglas, AZ.

Traffic Accident Non Injury: A male subject struck three cows on Paul Spur Rd. at mile marker 1 west of Douglas. The man was operating his gray in color 1998 Dodge pick-up, which was totaled as a result of the accident, but he did not sustain any injuries.         

Domestic Violence:  Alma Moreno was arrested (cite&release) for Domestic Violence/Disorderly Conduct, and Sergio Hoyos was arrested for Domestic Violence/Assault. During the incident Mr.Hoyos bit Ms.Moreno on the arm. This took place in the 3500 block of El Sol Drive.

September 2

DOUGLAS                                                           Wanted Person: Manuel Martinez-Ramirez, an undocumented alien, was arrested at the US Border Patrol station on a valid warrant out of Maricopa County Superior Court.

ELFRIDA                                                               

Agency Assist:  Deputies observed a subject trying to get a ride at the McNeal Mercantile and stopped to check on him.  The subject was an illegal immigrant was turned over to Border Patrol. 

Agency Assist: , Deputies working Stone Garden stopped a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed at Milepost 29 on Highway 191.  The driver did not have a driver’s license, registration, or insurance.  The subject informed Deputies that he was an illegal immigrant.  There were several other illegal immigrants in the vehicle who were all turned over to Border Patrol along with the vehicle. 

September 3

DOUGLAS                                                                   

Drugs: Andrea Moreno was in possession of an aluminum foil pipe with marijuana in the pipe.  In addition, Moreno had additional marijuana, usable amount, in her possession.  This incident occurred at 2600 Dahlia Street in Douglas, AZ.

ELFRIDA                                                                      

Theft:   A male reported several firearms had been stolen from him as well as a flatbed trailer.
