Flag football game Sunday


The Bisbee –Douglas Ironmen will have a flag football exhibition game Sunday at 11 A.M. at the 8th Street Park.

The team is still looking for players from the Douglas area to join their squad.

Anyone interested in playing is encouraged to attend the game.

Flag football registration underway

The Adult Flag football league is holding registration at the Douglas Recreation Center 919 3rd St.

Whoever is interested needs to stop by the Rec. Center.

Registration runs through Sept. 3.

DRPC meeting Sept. 3

The Douglas Rifle and Pistol club will have their next meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Cowbell Hall. The guest speaker will be Jesse Kelly candidate for congress.

The public is invited to attend.

Golf Course has Buddy Day special

The City of Douglas Municipal Golf Course is having a Buddy Day special every Monday and Tuesday where two greens fees plus cart will run $35 plus tax.

Anyone wanting more information may call 364-1588.
