Burger Shack celebrates this weekend

Two days of fun, food and muscle cars mark Burger Shack’s first anniversary.


Robert Encinas’ 1958 Bel-Air will be featured during the Sunday car show.

The celebration begins Saturday at 11 a.m. at the restaurant, located at 1855 10th Street. In addition to specials throughout the day, every 15th order will be free, there will also be free ice cream cones for the kids  and 99 cent  Root Beer floats, junior hamburger and cheeseburgers and corn dogs.

 On Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. Burger Shack and the Douglas Street Rods Car Club is sponsoring the Cruise Nite car Show. It is $10 per entry, and the festivities will include DJ CRZ Pony, Dash Plaques, raffles, Hot Wheels and a 50/50 raffle.
