Gloria Aguirre Dini a former resident of Douglas, AZ and graduate of Douglas High School, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on September 16, 2009.


 She was born September 10, 1952.  She resided in the Phoenix, Az area for 30 years.  She earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Art History from Arizona State University in 2002.  She worked for Aetna Insurance Corporation for 15 years.  She had recently moved to Tucson, AZ. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Prospero Aguirre and is survived by her mother, Socorro L. Aguirre, her sisters Cristina Garcia ( Ernesto), Elsa Reyes (Daniel), Yolanda Turner (Robin) and Annie Johnson (Gary).  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Nogales AZ, Tucson, AZ, Astoria, Oregon and Greenwood, Indiana. 

Her beloved cat, Andie, will miss her greatly. 

A Rosary for Gloria was recited at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19th at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday following the Rosary also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Gilbert Malu officiating.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Brown-Page Mortuary, 364-3434.
