Wanted Person: Miguel Chavira, Jr. was arrested at 4912 W Highway 80 (Twin Buttes trailer park). Mr. Chavira was arrested for being a Fugitive from Justice with outstanding warrant out of Washoe County, in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Chavira was then transported and booked into the CCSO-Jail.
Wanted Person: Juan Rene Valencia was arrested at a residence in the 600 block of Palm Avenue in Pirtleville, for a misdemeanor warrant out of the Douglas Police Dept. Warrant for failure to appear and original charge of underage consumption with a bond of $756.00.
Wanted Person: Carlos Laborin-Siqueiros was arrested at 10th St. and San Antonio Ave on a outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of JP #2 for failure to pay fines.
ELFRIDA
Agency Assist: Deputies assisted Border Patrol at 191 & Pearce Rd with a driver who was an undocumented alien. The driver and vehicle were turned over to Border Patrol.
Traffic: Carlos Joel Lomeli was operating his vehicle at 94 MPH in a posted 55 zone. Lomeli was cited and released .
September 22
DOUGLAS
Traffic Accident: Ramon Villa was involved in a two vehicle traffic accident on N Douglas Ave & W Grace Ave. The driver of the other vehicle, a white 1997 Chevy Corsica, left the scene. Villa’s vehicle, a gold 1994 Buick Lesabre, had extensive damage to the rear end. The trunk and rear bumper were crushed.
ELFRIDA
Suspended License: Deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle as it crossed a double-yellow line on E Highway 181. Billy Smith was driving the vehicle on a suspended license, had drug paraphernalia, and four illegal immigrants in the vehicle. The vehicle and illegal immigrants were turned over to Border Patrol. Smith was cited and released.
September 23
ELFRIDA
Agency Assist: Deputies encountered a vehicle and observed very erratic behavior to include driving into the oncoming lane of traffic. The vehicle left the roadway at MP 32 on Highway 191 and into a corn field where the occupants fled. Border Patrol apprehended the subjects along with the vehicle.
September 24
ELFRIDA Agency Assist: Deputies encountered a vehicle that Border Patrol was attempting to locate as a possible load vehicle. Deputies followed the vehicle and observed very erratic behavior to include driving into the oncoming lane of traffic. The vehicle left the roadway at MP 32 on Highway 191 and into a corn field where the occupants fled. Border Patrol apprehended the subjects along with the vehicle.
Agency Assist: Deputies assisted Border Patrol with a traffic stop on E Highway 181 MP 47. The driver, an American Citizen had four undocumented aliens in the vehicle, no driver’s license, insurance, or registration. The driver was cited and released along with the immigrants and vehicle to Border Patrol.
September 26-27
ELFRIDA
Disorderly/Threatening: Jason Bennet was cited and released for Disorderly & Threatening following an incident in the 4300 block of W Gleeson Road where he confronted his girlfriend and another male subject.
Property Damage Accident: Reinel Perez was traveling east on Davis Rd when his vehicle blew a front driver's side tire at milepost 14.5. No one was injured but there was a fence damaged at that location.
