" Time for a change, long over due, Ditto, former Bulldog, Fair if your going to complain at least let us know who it is that's actually complaining and stop hiding behind these fake "names".
If the athletes in Douglas reflect the people making these comments its no wonder these kids struggle - they have no guts just like the people making these comments. "

" As long as there are certain individuals in the coaching clique at DHS, fair is simply a word that has no meaning. You have coaches who develop their kid at the expense of the program. We have seen that in volleyball for years. Unfortunately these coaches infest more than one sport. Just take a look at the 3 major girls sports. That is the reason the majority of the programs are losing programs. Sour grapes? Unhappy parent? No, just stating the facts! The worst part of all this is how the children of these so called coaches get privileges other athletes don't. Just take a look how one person gets use of the softball field lights anytime they want. Can any student turn on the lights and use the softball field whenever they want since this is a PUBLIC school? I think not! This joke will only go away when an AD with guts is hired. One that hires coaches for their ability and commitment. Until then it will be the same old LOSING song. "

" there needs to be some major changes in the athletic department. many of the coaches are there for the wrong reasons.
A pay check. but, it starts at the top DDUSD needs to get rid of its worthless aathletic director, who does absolutely nnothing. thats where they need to start. "

" Ditto on the previous comments. The Chavez just get involved in the sports their kid is in so that she gets special treatment. It is not fair to the harder working more talented student athletes who better not say a word or else. "
