October 13


ELFRIDA                                                               

Criminal Damage:  On 10-13-09, Border Patrol reported unknown subject(s) drove through three fences at milepost 5.5 S Bell Ranch Rd.  BP stated the vehicle was possibly transporting illegal immigrants.  Damage estimated at $350 .

October 14

DOUGLAS                                                                   

Wanted Person: Francisco Alvarez Rangel was arrested for an outstanding Felony warrant from Maricopa County Superior Court(charges Possession of Marijuana). This took place at the United States Border Patrol station in Douglas,Az.

Domestic Violence: Ceferino Cuevas got into a verbal altercation with his live-in girlfriend, on E. Aster St, Douglas, AZ.  During this incident Cuevas pushed the female numerous times, pushing her face as well.  At one point the female locked herself in the bathroom and Cuevas forced entry, breaking the locking mechanism.  Cuevas refused to comply with order and resisted being taken into custody.  Cuevas was subsequently arrested.

ELFRIDA                                                                      

Drug Load:  On 101409 at 9:30 am, Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle that was east bound on Highway 181.  The driver of the vehicle refused to stop.  Deputies followed the vehicle to MP 12 on Turkey Creek Rd where the driver finally stopped and fled the vehicle.  The vehicle contained 396 lbs of marijuana.  Vehicle was seized and the driver of the vehicle was not located.

October 15

DOUGLAS                                                                

Wanted Person: Heriberto Arvayo was arrested at the United States Port of Entry in Douglas AZ on a valid warrant from Arizona Department of Public Safety for open container. 

ELFRIDA                                                             

Domestic:    Amber Komonczi and her fiancé were engaged in a verbal domestic.  During the argument, Amber broke a marble chess set as she threw it to the ground at a neighbor’s apartment.  Amber was arrested for criminal damage, domestic violence, and disorderly.  

October 17-18

DOUGLAS                                                            

Wanted Person: Victor Manuel Lopez-Velasquez, an undocumented immigrant, was arrested at the United States Border Patrol Station, Douglas, Arizona on a valid warrant out of San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department, Redwood City, California.

ELFRIDA                                                                  

Burglary-   A male subject reported an unknown person entered his residence on Highway Hwy 191. The man stated when he entered his house he found an unknown individual in his bedroom sitting in the rafters. The man stated the subject left when he told him to, but he later noticed his 22 caliber pistol was missing.
