Cochise Buddies clinic Nov. 14


The annual Cochise Buddies basketball clinic is set for Nov. 14 from 12-2 at the Cochise College basketball gym.

The clinic is open to kids in grades K-9. Cost is $10 and each participant will receive a t-shirt, instruction on the fundamentals of basketball from the Cochise College players and staff plus a pass for a free soda and snack from the snack bar during a Cochise College basketball game.

Gymkhanas scheduled at Fairgrounds

Monthly gymkhanas have been scheduled through June at the Cochise County Fairgrounds beginning Saturday, October 17.

The dates include October 17, November 21, December 12, January 9, February 13, March 13, April 17, May 15 and June 26. A possible play day and awards reception will be held on July 17.

Each Gymkhana will be held at the Green Arena, which can be reached by entering through Gate One, South Entrance to the Fairgrounds on Fairway Drive.

Sign up and Time only at 9 a.m. Run time is at 10 a.m.

Drinks and snacks will be available, and the bathrooms will be open.

Please adhere to Fairground rules and expectations. Absolutely no running on the track.

Gun Show Oct. 31 at Fairgrounds

The Cochise County Fairgrounds will be the location for a Gun Show Oct. 31 and Nov.1.

Show hours will be 9-5 on Saturday; 9-4 on Sunday.

This is a chance for people to buy, sell and trade modern and antique guns, ammo, knives and more.

Gun and coin appraisals will also take place.
