Chef Michael Wray, winner of the first season of the fiery reality cooking show “Hell’s Kitchen,” will share his love of food during four non-credit courses being offered this fall through the Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning.

Classes are open to the public and will be offered at the Fort Huachuca Army Education Center, Building 21112.

In Theory of Cooking Good Food, Wray reveals his secrets and allows a behind-the-scenes look at how he approaches the creation of a four-course meal from start to finish. The $39 class meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Nov. 19.

Parents and children learn to creatively incorporate nutritious foods into delicious meals during My Child and Me, a Healthy Cooking Class. The course meets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. The cost is $29 per adult and $10 per child age 10 or older. Adults may attend without a child.

Wray teaches the ins and outs of the perfect sauce during Saucing It Up, which meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 9. The cost of the four-hour class is $39.

The Perfect Holiday Dinner will be offered twice, with Wray showing participants how to prepare a memorable holiday dinner with all the trimmings and without the stress. This four-hour, $49 course will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 and again on Saturday, Dec. 12.

To register, call (520) 515-5492 or e-mail training@cochise.edu. Anyone needing an accommodation in order to attend should contact the Disability Services Office, (520) 515-5337 or (520) 417-4023, at least 72 hours in advance.
