Border Brats looking for players


The Douglas Brats travel team is looking for girls ages 8-10 who are eager to develop their skills while having fun and playing at a more competitive level.

 If you and your parents are interested in becoming part of a championship organization, please call Louie at 220-8491.

Gun Show this weekend at Fairgrounds

The Cochise County Fairgrounds will be the location for a Gun Show Oct. 31 and Nov.1.

Show hours will be 9-5 on Saturday; 9-4 on Sunday.

This is a chance for people to buy, sell and trade modern and antique guns, ammo, knives and more.

Gun and coin appraisals will also take place.

Cochise Buddies basketball clinic Nov. 14

The annual Cochise Buddies basketball clinic is set for Nov. 14 from 12-2 at the Cochise College basketball gym.

The clinic is open to kids in grades K-9. Cost is $10 and each participant will receive a t-shirt, instruction on the fundamentals of basketball from the Cochise College players and staff plus a pass for a free soda and snack from the snack bar during a Cochise College basketball game.
