Sonia R. Regnier, of Willcox died January 3, 2010 in Tucson at the age of 31.


She was born in Florence, AZ on November 20, 1978 to Joe and Juana Hernandez Juarez. Sonia graduated from Willcox High School Class of 1997, was a graduate of COTA and was a K-9 handler at the Douglas State Correctional Facility. She was a Cosmetology graduate of EAC and was working as a cosmetologist at Bidegain’s Beauty Salon in Willcox.

On April 26, 2008 in Cochise she married Danny Regnier who survives her. Also surviving is her daughter Audrey Ballesteros of Willcox and step-children Brianna and Jonathon Regnier of Phoenix her parents Janie and Bill Roberts of Willcox and Joe Juarez of Casa Grande, AZ. Sonia is also survived by her grandparents Jose Enrique and Augustina Juarez of Eloy and Felipe Belloc of Mexico, her brother Phillip Livesay of Willcox and nephews and niece Breydon Brewer, Savannah Livesay and Vincent Chatterton, her sisters Lela ( Ben) Rodgers of Vail and Andrea (Thomas) Kibler and nephew Jordan Brewer of Willcox and Father and Mother –in- Law Gary and Debbie Regnier of Cochise.

Visitation was 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Westlawn Chapel with Rosary being offered at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass was celebrated 10:00 AM on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willcox. Burial followed at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Memorial Park Cemetery in Douglas, AZ.

Services entrusted to Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematory of Willcox, AZ.
