The camp will run from 8:30 A.M. to 4:45 p.m. Cost is $50 which includes professional instruction and interaction from former University of Arizona athletes Autumn Champion and Taryne Mowatt, a T-shirt, and other softball memorabilia items.

The DGASA will have its opening ceremonies March 27 at 2 p.m. at the 15th Street Softball field.
Cochise College to host rodeo at Fort Huachuca
Cochise College, in conjunction with Fort Huachuca FMWR and the Sierra
Vista Riding Club, will host competitors from college and universities in Arizona and other states at the spring NIRA rodeo March 5 and 6 on Fort Huachuca.
Competition at Wren Arena begins Friday, March 5 with slack at 9 a.m. and a performance at 6 p.m. It continues Saturday, March 6 with the Exceptional Rodeo at 10 a.m. and the championship round at 1 p.m. Advance tickets are available for $6 at Murr Community Center, Safeway and Cochise College. Active-duty military personnel and kids age 6 and younger are admitted free of charge.

DLL accepting bids for concession stands
The Douglas Little League is now accepting bids for the concession stand at the 15th street park and the Copper King Stadium.
For any interested parties please feel free to request a form. You may call Monalisa Burns at 520 227 4827. The deadline to submit your form is March 15, 2010.
DLL signup continues this weekend
The Douglas Little League will be having registration Saturday, March 6 and March 13.
Registration may be done at Ortega’s Sportsworld, 1017 G Avenue from 10-2. The registration fee this year is $85 which broken down is $60 registration, $25 for four carne asada tickets and one Carl’s Jr. booklet
Requirements to register your child are as follows: birth certificate and two proofs of Arizona residency. The child must also be present during registration.
Volunteers are also needed for the upcoming season.
Volunteer forms may be picked up during registration.
