Sewer Construction

The Bonita Avenue Sewer Interceptor project which includes installing 15-inch sewer line along Bonita Avenue from 3rd Street to 19th Street is ongoing.  As a result, this week Bonita Avenue will be closed from 3rd Street to 17th Street.

Fire hydrant and water system maintenance also continues along with miscellaneous concrete repairs, pothole patching, and graffiti cleanup throughout the city.  Should problems arise with water and/or sewer services on the weekend or a holiday, please contact the Douglas Police Department at 417-7550, and staff on call will be dispatched to your residence.  The City asks that you please obey all construction detours and use caution while driving or walking through these construction zones.  Please help keep everyone safe.
