Douglas’ coach Katie Walker said overall it was a good week for her kids.
“I felt they remained focused all week and concentrated on playing each opponent as they came,” she said.
The Bulldogs, 5-0, are off this week for spring break and Coach Walker is hoping her team can maintain its focus when it returns to play March 23 when Douglas heads to Sahuarita for a key Gila Regional match.
The coach gave her team off Monday and Tuesday but will return to practice today and continue through the rest of the week.
“These kids have goals on what they want to accomplish this year,” she said. “I expect these kids to maintain their focus when we return to league play.”
