SEAGO assists seniors to apply for Food Stamps

The SEAGO Area Agency on Aging is working in partnership with the United Way of Southern Arizona to assist individuals aged 60 or older to apply for food stamps.  Call for an appointment, and a staff member can schedule a trip to a senior center or a library in your home community.  Documents you may need when applying include a photo ID, birth certificate, income statements, childcare expense, utility expenses (for most recent month), bank account statements, rent/mortgage for most recent month, terminated income if applicable, unemployment statements, and social security cards.

Both speak Spanish.
